Newborn Photo Session

Congratulations on your new little love! Welcome to the world of Highlands Ranch newborn photography! I'm Sarah. With my studio set against the breathtaking Colorado landscape, I offer a relaxing and luxurious experience for both you and your baby. My newborn photo sessions are all about celebrating the arrival of your little one and capturing the purest emotions and details of these early days. The magic of a newborn's first yawns, tiny fingers, and tender expressions deserves to be preserved forever in your first family photos. I understand the delicate nature of working with newborns, ensuring that the safety & wellbeing of your infant is the most important factor of each session. I create a soothing environment where both baby and parents can feel comfortable and at ease. My patient and gentle approach allows us to capture those adorable, fleeting moments that pass by in the blink of an eye. Whether it's the peaceful slumber of your newborn or the tender interactions between parents and baby, I am dedicated to encapsulating the pure joy that a new life brings. From selecting soft and cozy props to crafting setups that reflect your family's style, I curate every detail to create timeless portraits that will adorn your walls and albums for generations to come. Your newborn's journey is a chapter in your family's story, and I am honored to help you tell it through the art of photography. My Approach

I am a newborn trained photographer that believes the safety of your newborn is number one priority, therefore I perform light posing and ensure the space/ items utilized for each session are properly cleaned and stored after each use. Each newborn photo session is "baby led" which means that our little love runs the show! I go at baby's pace and pay close attention to which poses each baby prefers over others. In my experience newborn photo sessions are easiest to perform when baby is about 14 days old. However, newborn sessions can be scheduled within 12 weeks of their birth. With elegance and poise, these sessions are designed to capture your baby's pure essence & authenticity. You can check out some behind the scenes on my Instagram!

It does help to have any of baby's favorite things (blanket, pacifier, brush, a worn but not washed momma shirt, etc.) to help them feel more comfortable.

Generally speaking, 5-21 days of age will be the most ideal time for a newborn session; however, we can go up to 12 weeks.
